New full-length trailers for James Bond‘s return in Skyfall have been released. Academy Award winning director Sam Mendes clearly knows this franchise inside out and has served up what looks to be a return to form – fusing big action set pieces, sex, intrigue and plenty of style.
The last bond flick Quantum of Solace, let down fans partly due to an incomplete script – but now it looks like the time spent waiting for studio MGM to be resurrected has proved beneficial to Bond; Skyfall looks to be a well developed and a worthy addition to one of the most successful film series in cinema history.
What’s cool about these trailers is that we finally get a look at Javier Bardem‘s terrifying villain and how he fits into the dazzling story.
The International trailer is by far the best – the U.S version is mostly rearranged visuals with less use of the James Bond signature theme song which really makes the International version kick-ass.
The film stars Daniel Craig, Bérénice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes, and Javier Bardem.
Skyfall opens November 9th.
