The wacky Bluth family have finally reunited with cameras now rolling on the new series of Arrested Development. The entire original cast of Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Portia de Rossi, David Cross, Jessica Walter, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Alia Shawkat and Tony Hale are all back along with Ron Howard as the narrator.
This time the format is said to focus on one character per episode, with multiple characters in certain episodes. The ten episodes will air on Netflix who will release all ten episodes at once sometime in 2013.
If the first run proves successful, creator Mitch Hurwitz is keen on making additional episodes; there’s also the prospect of a movie spin-off at some point.
Jason Bateman recently tweets pics from set of ‘Arrested Development’ saying “My son, arriving yesterday.” The photos saw Cera dressed in George Michael’s familiar checked shirt and jeans, on the sets of the famous ‘model home’ and the Bluth matriarch Lucille’s apartment -Bateman adding the caption: “A grandson, looking for his Gangee”.
