It’s now been confirmed that Daniel Craig will be playing James Bond for some time with the actor signing on for at least two more Bond films after appearing in the upcoming Skyfall. This will make Craig the third longest-serving Bond just behind Sean Connery and Roger Moore. In addition, the studio is said to be aiming to have the next Bond film ready for November 2014, the month becoming synonymous with Craig’s Bond flicks.
Skyfall is shaping up to the most epic of recent Bond flicks, with the length reportedly set to come in at around 145 minutes. Director Sam Mendes takes the reins this time around and in this new behind the scenes featurette, we can see he has been meticulous in putting his own stamp on Bond, while at the same time keeping true to the iconic series as well as being mindful of audiences’ expectation for what’s set to be a major movie event.

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
The film also stars Naomi Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Whishaw.
Skyfall opens November 9th, 2012.
