The show that turned the ambitious nature of American Idol and the classic film Grease into a well scripted TV show that ‘s become a cultural phenomenon, continues it’s second season with it’s next ep airing on the 26th Oct with the Rocky Horror Pictures Show as it’s theme.
With no sign of letting up the show goes from strength to strength in part due to it’s talented cast who show up in a racy photo shoot as part of next month’s issue of GQ magazine.
Here’s some grabs from their interviews where each of the talented performers were asked some revealing questions about themselves and their hopes for the show.
Leah Michelle who plays Rachel Berry was asked how Glee differs from the Idol reality show and replied that they were too different to compare:
One is about being judged, and one is not…
… and on the pressure in high school to get a nose job, but thanks to her virtues…
I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn’t get one. And if anybody needed it, I probably did. But my mom always told me, growing up, ‘Barbra Streisand didn’t get a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’ And I didn’t. F— those people. That’s why I’m proud to be on a positive show and to be a voice for girls and say, ‘You don’t need to look like everybody else. Love who you are.’
Dianna Agron, on how she’d like to see the talented performer Christopher Walken appear in an episode:
I don’t think people are too fond of that suggestion. I think they just want me to say Justin Timberlake or something.
Cory Monteith, on what he would like to see for his character Finn:
I wouldn’t put it past [Ryan Murphy] for Finn to go to military school at the end of season three, or for him to turn into the creepy janitor who gave up on his football dreams and stalks freshmen.
