Here at FMT we’re big fans of the lovely Taylor Swift and her incredible talents as a songwriter and performer. Her new album Speak Now has just been released and as part of that celebration an amazing 3 part special aired on The Hub which followed the 20-year-old Grammy Award winner on her Fearless tour. It gave fans an insight into her life growing up through home movies and interviews with family and friends that show her meteoric rise to fame and her place in music history.
Part 1 of Taylor Swift: Journey to Fearless, the singer narrates a collection of home movies that chart her path to superstar status, chronicling her career and lead up to the release of her Grammy Award winning album Fearless.
Swift also speaks of her move to Nashville as well as overcoming her childhood insecurities which later brought her true happiness and success.
The second part follows her crossover from country music to pop and how she began planning her Fearless Tour. The final hour highlighted her various concerts around the globe with some clips from her video diary as well as her favorite fan moments and a tribute to her mum.
In a statement regarding the success of her Fearless tour, Taylor Swift said:
The FEARLESS Tour was an amazing journey, from the fun we had behind-the-scenes to the shows themselves. This series of specials on The Hub is a great way to share everything about the tour with the fans.
