The film has struck a chord with audiences especially the young who have flocked to the screenings, seeking a more challenging movie going experience. Whilst still playing in only a very limited release, most theaters are averaging close to $80,000 per venue which means its getting a full house. The Darren Aronofsky flick is said to be something of a near-masterpiece with a story that resonates with audiences.
