She maybe the daughter of one of the worlds famous filmmakers but Sofia Coppola has also established herself as a filmmaker of similar caliber, with an eye for detail and an unwavering ability to tell a story. After her break out hit Lost in Translation, she established herself as a director not concerned with big budget action or effects, but with the focus firmly on story and well crafted characters which are true to their world. Her skills allow her to retain the viewers attention throughout seemingly simplistic stories which soon reveal themselves to have much greater depth.
