Here’s the compiled list of the Top Ten movies which struck box office gold in 2010, whilst there are a few surprises, others were surefire hits. The movies not only generated big dollars in the U.S but also attracted huge numbers around the globe and with the increasing cinematic quality and enhanced formats through digital technology, more and more people are going to the cinema.

The Pixar threequel, made in 3D, grossed $1.1 billion at the box office.
