The Coen Brothers latest movie True Grit has been a massive hit and will soon pass the $150 million mark at the domestic box-office. It’s a combination of fantastic performances especially from newcomer Hailee Steinfeld who wowed the screen from start to finish, and the incredible talents of the filmmakers, crew and technicians.
When watching the film the audience gets a true sense of story immersion, with a film like ‘Avatar’ that completes the world digitally – here’s a film that recreates the time period the old fashioned way, with glorious sets and locations, vivid production design and brilliant cinematography. The music is also an amazing part of the film though was not recognized for an Oscar because of its usage of classical works – nonetheless these elements united on screen create an incredible movie going experience and these new Paramount featurettes take a look at what made ‘True Grit’ complete.
