Here’s the new theatrical trailer for Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde. There’s more of a sense of the plot than the previous trailer which was heavy on mystery, and we get a better sense of how this genre melding movie will stack up.
We see more of the characters and the goings on in the hard desert town of Absolution, and the mysterious stranger who arrives with an alien device attached to his wrist. Olivia Wilde shows us her character knows a bit more that she was initially letting on, and Harrison Ford does his bit as the hard as nails Colonel Dolarhyde who’s still got a bit of Han Solo left in him when it comes to gun-slinging.
The fusing of the western and sci-fi genres is making this movie look very appealing, and with the creative masterminds behind the scenes, expect this film to deliver on action and special effects with some great characters set against a timeless backdrop.
