TRANSFORMERS 3 – Latest Trailer and Clips

The next Transformers movie is just around the corner and fans are getting mighty pumped that a significant amount robotic mayhem and spectacle is about to be unleashed on 3D movie screens. Transformers: Dark of the Moon marks the extit of Megan Fox after her descriptive comments about Michael Bay‘s directorial style likened him to Hitler, though calling the shots via megaphone will give that impression.

The second flick though immensely successful was dumped on by most including the stars and the director who acknowledged the errors of the second that included the wise cracking ‘Twins,’ Skids and Mudflap. This time he promises it will be the best of the trilogy with plenty of action and great characters – robot and human.

We also have a new bombshell to keep our attention,  Rosie Huntington-Whiteley plays the romantic interest this time round and while we can understand how Shia scored Megan in the first flick, how did he get lucky again? Only Michael Bay knows that answer having worked with the former model on Veronica’s Secret lingerie ads that he makes once a year.

Shia LaBeouf seems a little worse for wear in the new trailer, though filming this movie would’ve been taxing and he’s stated that this will be his last – but if the flick makes plenty of dosh the studios will want another sequel. Michael Bay hasn’t had a franchise that lends itself to his over the top visuals this much – so he’ll likely stick around.

The third instalment introduces us to the older brother of Optimus Prime who is found during the moon landing as seen in the teaser and is voiced by Trekkie legend Leonard Nimoy. The event from Earth’s past erupts and threatens to bring a war to Earth so big that the Transformers alone may not be able to win.

Action fans will surely get their kicks out of this movie which will boast some incredible visuals – though we’re still not sure why alien robots transform into old school vehicles – guess they do plenty of racing between wars on their home planet.

The movie also stars John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Patrick Dempsey, Kevin DunnJohn Malkovich and Frances McDormand along with the vocal talents of  Hugo Weaving and Peter Cullen.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon opens June 29th, 2011
