From the team who brought you Shrek and the director of the third installment Chris Miller, comes a prequel story that puts the feline swordsman Puss in Boots at the center of his own story, played by the accented Antonio Banderas. Interestingly his love interest in the flick, Kitty Softpaws is voiced by his ‘Desperado’ co-star Salma Hayek, and so they’re bound to be having plenty of fun playing these adorable characters for what should be a very enjoyable outing. The ‘Shrek’ flicks have a certain flair of brilliance similar to the Pixar movies, so expect good things from this one and judging by the trailer it could be worth it. The story sees the feline protagonist having to protect the “Golden Eggs” from falling into the wrong hands.
The flick also stars the vocal talents of Zach Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Amy Sedaris.

Way before Puss ever met Shrek, our suave and furry feline hero goes on a swashbuckling ride, as he teams with mastermind Humpty Dumpty and the street-savvy Kitty to steal the famed Goose that lays the Golden Eggs.
