With only hours before Transformers: Dark of the Moon opens, there’s new posters and a new trailer and scene to ensure the word is out that your local cinema is about to get jammed up with action hungry fans. Despite the jumble of the second installment and the departure of goddess Megan Fox, Michael Bay has everyone convinced that this will set the record straight and restore faith with fans.
The film will surely be an incredible visual experience that just wouldn’t be possible without Michael Bay whose distinct visuals are unmistakable, and while alien robots that transform into vehicles never made that much sense, the first made it all seem believable and the word is that the third does a similar, if not better job.
The film stars Shia LaBeouf, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Patrick Dempsey, Kevin Dunn, John Malkovich, and Frances McDormand.
Here’s the synopsis:
Shia LaBeouf returns as Sam Witwicky in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. When a mysterious event from Earth’s past erupts into the present day it threatens to bring a war to Earth so big that the Transformers alone will not be able to save us.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon opens just about everywhere in 3D on June 29th, 2011.
