AIDAN TURNER in THE HOBBIT

Over the last week Warner Bros has been releasing pictures of the 13 dwarves that feature in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, now we have a complete character line up which also reveals Aidan Turner who departed the hit U.K show Being Human, in full dress make-up as the character Kili.

The filming of the Hobbit prequels is currently taking a break so director Peter Jackson can start the process of editing and overseeing visual FX as well as taking care of other production tasks before the next phase of filming begins.

His latest video blog reveals that part of the production is being shot in England’s Pinewood Studios which allows Christopher Lee to reprise his role as the wizard Saruman. The break in filming also allows Martin Freeman to continue playing Watson in the compelling BBC TV series Sherlock, which offers a modern day take on the classic super sleuth.

Here’s the new image from The Hobbit featuring all 13 dwarves who accompany Bilbo Baggins on the Quest of Erebor.

From Left to Right: Jed Brophy as Nori, Dean O’Gorman as Fili, Mark Hadlow as Dori, James Nesbitt as Bofur, Peter Hambleton as Gloin, Graham MvTavish as Dwalin, Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield (center), Ken Scott as Balin, John Callen as Oin, Stephen Hunter as Bombur, William Kircher as Bifur, Adam Brown as Ori and Aidan Turner as Kili .
