Oh yeah, it’s the Red Band trailer for the upcoming remake of Conan the Barbarian. All up, it’s not that gory but doesn’t shy away from the voilence which is all in the context of a good ol’ mythological quest. Should be a good flick for action fans, plus newer fans of Jason Momoa who made a major impact on HBO’s Game of Thrones as Khal Drogo. Rachel Nichols also stars in this flick which should make for a stimulating movie experience, and check out Conan flooring the horse though not in the same way that Arnie dispatched the camel in the original.
From director Marcus Nispel, the film also stars Ron Perlman, Stephen Lang, and Rose McGowan.
Conan the Barbarian opens in 3D August 19th, 2011.
