Here’s the red band trailer for the Beastie Boys inspired 30 minute short Fight For Your Right – Revisited. The feature is set to debut with the May release of the Beastie Boys new album Hot Sauce Committee Part 2, and sees the rappers played by Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, and Elijah Wood meeting their future selves portrayed by John C. Reilly, Jack Black, and Will Ferrell.
Aside from the matching outfits, the counterparts look nothing alike and as the story goes they must have a dance off as part of the competition it would seem – it makes little sense except as an excuse for the comic talents to try something fresh. It’s totally messed up, but if you’re fans of the music and the comedy giants then it should be worth a laugh.
