Here’s the trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to Happy Feet, though it’s more of a reintroduction to those cutesy dancing penguins than a glimpse of the plot.
With a generation of ‘Idol’ contestants this is sure to continue the need for wannabe singers and dancers, though hopefully not any more reality shows. That said the graphics look great and the animation proves why the first was so popular with this one quickly drawing us into the Antarctic setting and the loveable penguin’s foot tapping craze.
The trailer uses Justin Timberlake’s ‘Sexy Back’, reworded to ‘Fluffy Back’ and along with the vocal talents of Elijah Wood and Robin Williams, the flicks also stars Hank Azaria, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, rock star Pink and Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara.
George Miller is once again behind the helm of what will surely be another massive hit with families.
Happy Feet 2 opens November 18, 2011.
