It has a very strong likelihood that it will get an Oscar nomination for Best Picture and a Best Director nod for Christopher Nolan as Inception was a runaway hit that screamed creativity at the highest level. It’s a safe bet to say that it will walk away with best visual FX that were the most thought provoking and impressive in decades that were crucial to the narrative and made the story so much more believable.
Whilst the film will have strong competition from The Social Network, The Fighter and Black Swan, Nolan‘s Inception is a triumph of filmmaking for it’s complexities and accomplishments and the final seamless vision that resonates each day we wake from slumber.
