Kung Fu Panda 2 – Trailer #2

After the teaser trailer some months back, we now have the full length trailer for Kung Fu Panda 2.  The film sees Po and the gang go on a road trip of sorts to defeat the villain of the flick. Along the way there’s plenty of misadventures and the usual hi-jinks that Jack Black brings to his characters which really shine through in this trailer.

Featuring the glorious visuals that makes these films such a treat, there’s a lot of nice comedic moments and this one looks  like it may surpass the original – plus the animation invariably improves as does the technology with this being rendered in 3D, so it’s gonna look pretty cool in a digital cinema wearing those specky glasses.

The film also features the vocal talents of Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, James Hong, Gary Oldman, Michelle Yeoh, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Victor Garber.

Synopsis:

In KUNG FU PANDA 2, Po is now living his dream as The Dragon Warrior, protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five. But Po’s new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu. He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will Po be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.

Kung Fu Panda 2 opens in 3D on May 26th, 2011.
