Logan Marshall-Green has landed a major role in Ridley Scott‘s upcoming science fiction film Prometheus. The actor who was recently seen in the horror flick Devil, and TV’s Dark Blue playing undercover cop Dean Bendis for two seasons, has scored the part of a lifetime.
Marshall-Green will be playing the role of Holloway, a crewman on the spaceship who’s also a love interest for the other main character Elizabeth Shaw, who’ll be played by Swedish sensation Noomi Rapace. He’ll be joining Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris and Kate Dickie in the U.K where shooting is set to commence this month.
Originally the movie started out as a set of Alien prequels from an original draft by Jonathan Spaihts, and was later rewritten by Lost mastermind Damon Lindelof until it evolved into something more original.
It’s all starting to come together for this new Alien themed flick which is starting to look pretty fantastic with an incredible cast, a most likely amazing story from a director who’s responsible for slew of landmark movies.
Prometheus is set for release June 3rd, 2012.
