William Shatner has made a documentary about Star Trek, focusing on the many captains which the various incarnations of the series has seen over the years. In The Captains, Shatner meets up with Patrick Stewart (The Next Generation), Kate Mulgrew (Voyager), Scott Bakula (Enterprise), Avery Brooks (Deep Space Nine) as well as the newest helmer of The Enterprise and the first actor to take over Shatner’s defining role – Chris Pine, in J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek reboot.

In The Captains, he travels the world to connect with each of the actors who have played Captains over the long life of the Star Trek franchise.
