Tom Hardy was recently interviewed by French outlet Allocine on the promotional trail for his boxing flick Warrior, hence the French subs. Hardy plays Bane in the The Dark Knight Rises and his character is meant to take on Batman and injure him severely. Hardy though is coy to give any clues and jokes with the reporter that director Christopher Nolan keeps him and others in the dark.
I know less about the project that I’m filming with that man because Chris Nolan doesn’t tell you anything, so I don’t know who I’m playing, or what I’m doing, until the morning that I’m working!
We think this guy knows more than he’s letting on, he can barely keep a straight face.
The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20th, 2012.
