Here’s the red band trailer for the upcoming Judd Apatow-produced comedy Wanderlust directed by David Wain (Role Models). The film reunites Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston who starred in the 1998 flick The Object of My Affection as well as working together on the sitcom Friends.
Wanderlust tells the story of a couple who are forced to move out of their New York household and then go to live with family in Georgia, but end up staying in a nudist commune which they mistake for a bed and breakfast.
Here’s what Jennifer Aniston had to say while talking to reporters on the red carpet at the premiere for the film:
“I love him. He is a dear friend,” Aniston said of working with Rudd. “We just have a true affection for each other and I just feel honored any time I get to work with him.”
Here’s the synopsis:
George and Linda are an overextended, stressed out Manhattan couple. After George is downsized out of his job, they find themselves with only one option: to move in with George’s awful brother in Atlanta.
On the way there, George and Linda stumble upon Elysium, an idyllic community populated by colorful characters who embrace a different way of looking at things. Money? It can’t buy happiness. Careers? Who needs them? Clothes? Only if you want them.
Is Elysium the fresh start George and Linda need? Or will the change of perspective cause more problems than it solves?
The film also stars Justin Theroux, Ken Marino, Joe Lo Truglio, Malin Akerman, Kathryn Hahn, and Alan Alda.
