WRATH OF THE TITANS New International Trailer

The new trailer is here for the mythological beasts and creatures CGI extravaganza flick, ‘Wrath of the Titans’ with Sam Worthington back as Perseus in the sequel to Clash of the Titans. This flick promises to be a captivating Greek mythological epic, with plenty of gladiatorial style action and a more compelling story.

The action and set pieces look very impressive and even though director Jonathan Liebesman‘s last flick ( Battle Los Angeles ) was not as enthralling as the marketing had promised, the scale and scope of this sequel should nonetheless be a worthy cinematic ride.

Wrath of the Titans picks up ten years later with Hades (Ralph Fiennes) conspiring with Ares (Edgar Ramírez) to free the vicious Kronos and the rest of the imprisoned Titans so that he can overthrow Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on Earth.  Zeus’ mortal son Perseus (Worthington) must find a way rescue his Godly father from the depths of the Underworld, defeat the Titans and save humanity by the end of the flick.  Rosamund Pike takes over the role of  the warrior Queen Andromeda, joining Perseus in his battle along with Poseidon’s demigod son Argenor (Toby Kebbell) and the fallen God, Hephaestus (Bill Nighy).
Worthington seems to be more bad-ass this time round, and the visuals do look impressive – however the flick was post converted to 3D and bumped up to IMAX from all accounts,  so the standard 2D version should do the trick.

Here’s the synopsis:

A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus (Worthington) –the demigod son of Zeus (Neeson)–is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus’ godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramirez), switch loyalties and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans’ strength grows stronger as Zeus’ remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon’s demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

Watch for chewing, especially around items such as electric
cords. Try to reward your animal whenever they respond or pay heed to your voice when you
utter out their name. Children will love that Toffee the pony
loves to be fussed over and pampered.
