Bringing THE HULK back To TV

The Hulk continues to be an enduring character of Marvel‘s comics and though the big screen adaptations have been less than well received, the character has thrived on the small screen.

The popular TV series of the 80’s which starred Bill Bixby as Dr David Banner and Lou Ferringo as The Incredible Hulk, remains a favorite with fans, and with last years acquisition of Marvel by Disney, its sister company ABC Studios is in the process of bringing the iconic character back to TV.

In November 2010, ‘Hellboy’ director Guillermo Del Toro and ‘Battlestar Galactica’ executive producer David Eick, struck a deal with ABC to create the new TV series. Del Toro will likely direct the pilot and also oversee the redesigning of the Hulk, but unlike the atrocious CGI creations to date, the series will employ a mixture of prosthetics, puppetry and CGI – blending comic book imagery with elements of the classic show.

Del Toro is currently readying a monster movie called Pacific Rim, and is also on the promotional trail for Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark starring Katie Holmes and Guy Pearce.

Fear Net got to speak with the filmmaker and asked about the progress being made on the new series:

Q: Is Hulk still happening?

We turned in the outline to ABC about four weeks ago. And then we did a rewrite for ABC on the outline, and now we are lining up the pages.

Q: Is it safe to assume this will be a different Hulk than we’ve ever seen before?

I think so. Or we wouldn’t be trying it. Actually, one of the points of this project early on with Marvel, was “We’re going to do this thing different, and here’s how. Are you interested?” And they were.

While a lot can change during development, and a new series is contingent on the pilot being picked up, The Hulk could be ripping through his pants once more on TV sometime in 2012.

I wrote in all the websites, that they need to know how to pull off a Better Bruce Banner, and they need an actor that’s not only could acted but that look just like the character from early 1960’s Comic Book, and the Television show. The best bet is to cast Edward Norton as the first choice and second choice as Fourth actor name Chris Hardwick.

    • Gilberto Edwards September 5, 2011 at 5:26 pm #

Edward Norton star in Incredible Hulk Film and fit the role as Bruce Banner. Ed is a very talented actor, and he’s not just doing it for the job purpose, he’s doing it also for the project to. He reminds me of Bill Bixby because have a little similarly and they both are very find actors, they looks so much alike. Edward Norton rewrote the whole screenplay of The Incredible Hulk Film.

  2. Gilberto Edwards September 5, 2011 at 5:37 pm #

My advice to all the fans of the incredible hulk, is that there looking to bring bruce banner back and banner is in his mid 20’s and Edward Norton looks like in his mid-twenties, and Including Chris Hardwick. But they got to created it from the old television show with Bruce Banner is overdosing with gamma radiation unit, like they did in the Hulk Film reboot.

  3. Gilberto Edwards September 5, 2011 at 5:44 pm #

I believe if Guillermo Del Toro do get Ed Norton to reprise the role, first in the New Hulk TV Show it will really last along time. But if they cast Chris Hardwick it probably will last along time.

  4. Gilberto Edwards September 5, 2011 at 5:48 pm #

Marvel Studios didn’t give Edward Norton any credit for writing the screenplay. And Kevin Fegie didn’t give norton a chance to reprise the role of Bruce Banner in The Avengers 2012 film upcoming movies.

  5. Gilberto Edwards September 5, 2011 at 5:53 pm #

Edward Norton said that he doesn’t feel any kind of intensity about doing it again, that mean he’s opened to do muilple Hulk TV Show or Movies too. Norton is a fan boy of the hulk television show and the 1960’s early incarnation of cartoon comic book.

    • Michael McDonnell September 9, 2011 at 12:23 am #

They are not going to pay any movie star salaries on a tv show they’re gonna cast a unknown.

  6. Gilberto Edwards September 5, 2011 at 5:56 pm #

http://www.fmtaccess.com e-mail my when you see my comments, and my advice too as well.

  7. Gilberto Edwards September 7, 2011 at 2:46 pm #

I made an error e-mail, fmtacess e-mail me rightway.

  8. Michael McDonnell September 9, 2011 at 12:30 am #

They gonna cast someone who looks like Bill Bixby it would be like casting Brandon Routh as Superman.

  9. Michael McDonnell September 9, 2011 at 12:31 am #

They not gonna cast someone who looks like Bill Bixby it would be like casting Brandon Routh as Superman.

  10. Gilberto Edwards September 12, 2011 at 4:08 pm #

No they will not cast brandon Routh at all. They will cast another actor better Brandon Routh that professional and knows how to act too they will get Edward Norton than Brandon Routh because Norton looks just like the character from 1960’s comic Book and Bill Bixby too.

  11. Gilberto Edwards September 12, 2011 at 4:11 pm #

No need to say that michael macdonnell because they known my comments already so give it a rest.

  12. Gilberto Edwards September 12, 2011 at 4:15 pm #

There following the classic television Series starred Bill Bixby and drawing out of incarnation of the marvel comics 1980’s.

    • Michael McDonnell September 30, 2011 at 3:46 pm #

Having the new series be a remake of the old series is a real problem it would just prevent the new series from creating it’s own identity and would just appeal to nostalgic douchebags not to a new generation.

  13. Michael McDonnell September 28, 2011 at 1:02 am #

The old series was 34 years ago the new series has to appeal to a new generation, there’s no point in doing an adaptation of the Hulk that follows the old series but completely ignores the comics it would be like Judge Dredd removing his helmet or Constantine not having an English accent and blonde hair.

  14. Michael McDonnell September 28, 2011 at 1:03 am #

No Jack McGee have General Ross hunt the Hulk in the new series sending
out army forces, Hulkbusters, gamma powered super soldiers to defeat the
    Hulk.

New series will probably be treated in a realistic way like Smallville or Chris Nolan’s Batman film’s.

  15. Michael McDonnell September 28, 2011 at 1:06 am #

Bruce Banner to wear glasses in the new series as in the comics which makes him look like an adult Peter Parker.

  16. Gilberto Edwards October 3, 2011 at 5:16 pm #

I will say that Bruce Banner will wear glasses in the New Hulk TV Show, and they need to discuss the terms on contacting Edward Norton to play the role of Bruce Banner or chris Hardwick as the fourth actor. And If Edward Norton wants to play him too then cast him first for the role as Bruce Banner. And If Chris Hardwick wants to play the role as Bruce Banner as fourth Actor then cast him as second choice.Chris Hardwick and Edward Norton looks like the comic book 1960’s Bruce Banner when he wears glasses. The only way you could pick them them too to see if they want to play the Bruce Banner character from the marvel comic book and Bill Bixby version too as well.

    • Gilberto Edwards October 3, 2011 at 5:29 pm #

McDonnell I will write a Letter to Guillermo Del Toro about to who they should cast first and second choice for the Bruce Banner character. Then you write a letter about storyline how you want the storyline to follow more of either Marvel Comics,or Orignal Television Series. My advice about the storyline is to follow more of the Television Series than the Marvel Comics.Because everything that works in comics means doen’t it will work TV Film or Movies Films.

      • Gilberto Edwards October 3, 2011 at 5:39 pm #

Things that works prefectally in marvel comics doesn’t mean it will work perfectally in TV Films and Movies. So for example is they what The Hulk To Follow more of the Marvel comics and might not work in film TV movies. They need to get away from comic book roots and in any way feelings.

        • Michael McDonnell October 5, 2011 at 3:34 pm #

There would be no point in doing a Hulk TV series that follows the old series but completely ignores the comic book mythology it would be just a carbon copy.

In order for the new show to be like the comic need to have the Hulk’s supporting cast and villains to give it a bigger scope than the old series.

      • Michael McDonnell October 5, 2011 at 3:19 pm #

Dude you can’t follow somebody else’s interpretation it would be going the Superman Returns you have to make it your own.

You can’t be definite on who’s playing who, casting announcements are things you underestimate it’s always a surprise even the casting of the new superman movie was unexpected it’s like science fiction mispredicting the future.

  17. Gilberto Edwards October 3, 2011 at 5:41 pm #

McDonnell go on my website right now!

  18. Michael McDonnell October 6, 2011 at 12:26 am #

It would be a missed opportunity following the old series, it would be wasting so much potential on what of stuff you can do like the Hulk fighting other gamma mutants week to week, storylines adapted from the comics.

They haven’t said yet if it’s going to be a man on the run, fugitive type series but still have him hunted by military forces but they can’t afford tanks and helicopters they’ll just have soldiers and humvs which are cheaper.

  19. Michael McDonnell October 6, 2011 at 1:31 am #

The old series was just the Hulk fighting criminals I like the new series to have the Hulk fighting gamma mutants, gamma powered super soldiers and other superpowered enemies.

  20. Gilberto Edwards October 6, 2011 at 3:28 pm #

Dude you can’t say that its going to follow the more of comic book it more of a real drama. And the Hulk should look more real.

  21. Gilberto Edwards October 6, 2011 at 3:29 pm #

Go to my website called http://www.GilbertoEdwards.com.

  22. Gilberto Edwards October 6, 2011 at 3:33 pm #

My new website has New Hulk TV coming in Fall 2012!

  23. Michael McDonnell October 6, 2011 at 7:12 pm #

About the new series having the love story between Bruce Banner and Betty Ross which Jeph Loeb said is going part of the focus of the series.

  24. Michael McDonnell October 7, 2011 at 1:17 am #

Create the Hulk using muscle prosthetics like they did with the Hellboy make up.

  25. Michael McDonnell October 7, 2011 at 1:22 am #

Hulk’s origin be an amalgam of the Ultimate Hulk and mainstream marvel. Banner survived the gamma exposure because he’s got a super immune system and he’s radiation resistant, he’s created a super soldier serum for the US military and the Hulk was created accidentally during an experiment in radiation resistance.

  26. Michael McDonnell October 7, 2011 at 3:02 pm #

Having Betty in the series would set it apart from the old series and have her help found a cure for Bruce and have her father get in the way.

  27. Michael McDonnell October 7, 2011 at 9:10 pm #

I think it’s likely they’ll cast television actors because their cheaper and the producers don’t have to pay movie star salaries, thats why they didn’t have Kurt Russell or James Spader for Stargate SG1.

    • Gilberto Edwards October 11, 2011 at 2:21 pm #

There not casting a cheap actor because he’s a Film Movies Director And Producer,Creator of The Incredible Hulk New TV Series.

      • Michael McDonnell October 11, 2011 at 2:35 pm #

I meant television doesn’t have the time or money to pay movie star actor salaries it will too expensive it would be like hiring Sylvester Stallone for a TV series.

  28. Gilberto Edwards October 11, 2011 at 2:33 pm #

I will say that Its up to Guillermo Del Toro to make the best choice on Between Edward Norton and Chris Hardwick to play Bruce Banner in New Hulk TV Series so it will be Successfully than the Hulk in the Movies. And how they will created the Hulk Unlike the past two Hulk Film From Marvel Studios.Marvel Studios well not enter fear with the big producers in charge at all. And need to fire Kevin Fegie right way!

    • Michael McDonnell October 11, 2011 at 2:41 pm #

Without it being an imitation of the old series, the old series was great but Del Toro would like to carve out his own take without being slavish to whats gone before.

  29. Gilberto Edwards October 11, 2011 at 2:42 pm #

The head Producers of The Incredible Hulk New Series name Guillermo Del Toro will have to hire more Producers like Execuitives and Assitants the first Execuitive is Stan Lee and Second is Kenneth Johnson that need to be Execuitive.

  30. Gilberto Edwards October 11, 2011 at 2:45 pm #

Marvel Studio Kevin fegie needs to resign rightway after they make the Avengers 2012, And have a Brand New CEO to replace Kevin Feige from Marvel Stuios.

  31. Michael McDonnell October 11, 2011 at 2:48 pm #

Del Toro has said it’s going to be a new take on the character, Jeph Loeb saying it’s going to focus on the love story between Bruce Banner and Betty Ross and of cause the rumor that the Red Hulk is going in it, that doesn’t sound like it’s going to follow the old series.

  32. Gilberto Edwards October 11, 2011 at 2:49 pm #

No More CEO Kevin Feige in the Marvel Studios and they need to Upgrade another CEO president name Stan Lee as a New CEO.

  33. Gilberto Edwards October 11, 2011 at 2:51 pm #

MacDonell needs to give other Hulk Fans a Chance to write comments in FMTaccess.com.

  34. Michael McDonnell October 11, 2011 at 3:13 pm #

How can it be like the old series it was 35 years ago they’re not going have him chased by a reporter and him fighting criminals, have him in the new series fighting the military and possibly gamma mutate enemies.

  35. Michael McDonnell October 11, 2011 at 3:49 pm #

Everybody’s perspective of the Hulk is different depending on what generation your in and what version of the character you fell in love with wither it’s the 70’s tv show or the comics books.

  36. Michael McDonnell October 11, 2011 at 7:14 pm #

Del Toro will reveal new Hulk series details at New York Comic Con on October 15.

  37. Michael McDonnell October 12, 2011 at 7:39 pm #

Have there be gamma mutants unleashed by the same accident that created the Hulk and not have him chased by a reporter but by military forces.

  38. Michael McDonnell October 16, 2011 at 1:33 pm #

At the Marvel Television panel at this year’s New York Comic Con, Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb didn’t talk a lot about Hulk TV, but he did say a little bit of what he’ll look like.

Loeb says that the Hulk will look “as closely as possible” like how he will look in the Avengers movie. “I’m very, very confident that the Hulk you’re going to see when we finally get on the air on ABC, is going to look like something other than us putting a lot of paint on Lou Ferrigno,” Loeb said today.

Loeb also confirmed things that were talked about before – Cloak & Dagger and Mockingbird are still in development at ABC Family, and AKA Jessica Jones will feature Carol Danvers (Ms. Marvel) and Luke Cage within.

As pilot casting starts happening early in the year, we’ll probably be hearing more soon.

    • Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 2:31 pm #

Hey man thats untrue thats not Guillermo Del toro’s word said on video player. My advice is that the Incredible Hulk new Series is unlike the the avengers 2012 and last 2 Hulk Films.

  39. Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 2:39 pm #

I text Jeph Leob and said to hire me as a casting person, because macdonnell need to cut his foolish advice out ok.Thats not want Jeph Leob said, at all that’s up to Guillermo Del Toro that’s not what guillermo Del Toro wants it to look like at all.

  40. Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 2:42 pm #

I will make a serouis annoument is The New Hulk TV Show will Not follow the Avengers 2012 and 2 Hulk Films.

  41. Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 2:47 pm #

Lou Ferrigno is the orignal Hulk and no one could play the Hulk but Lou Ferrigno himself, thats Lou Ferrigno’s nick name The Incredible Hulk thats never going to leave Lou Ferrigno at all. And for your information stop lying about lou’s perfoming as playing the character.

  42. Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 2:48 pm #

Thats the whole truth about The New Hulk TV will Involve Lou Ferrigno.

  43. Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 2:50 pm #

The New Hulk TV Show will be UNlike the 3 Hulk Films!

    • Michael McDonnell October 17, 2011 at 2:58 pm #

You haven’t read the comic books you don’t know what their like how importent they are.

  44. Michael McDonnell October 17, 2011 at 3:00 pm #

Del Toro never said anything about it being a rehash of the old series.

  45. Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 9:51 pm #

Don’t be anti stupid man you asking for a kick on you butt man, don’t mess with me! you keep on emailing me if I find out were you live all straight you out real fast.

  46. Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 9:56 pm #

Don’t mess around with Lou ferrigno too or else you ll asking for a head lock or sleeper hole. dont’t take no pictures because he will put you your place too but 10 times worst.

  47. Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 10:00 pm #

Lou Ferrigno weighs 268lb and able to bench press his weight too. and bench press 450lb. and he’s able to play the Hulk again and again so many times than you image.

  48. Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 10:01 pm #

The New Hulk TV Series will be a success ones I ve my hands full to help with the casting actors.

  49. Gilberto Edwards October 17, 2011 at 10:04 pm #

The New Hulk TV Show will follow the classics old original TV series, and 1960’s marvel comic book.

    • Michael McDonnell October 17, 2011 at 11:56 pm #

How do you know? have you read the latest news updates on what the premise is going to be? go to those websites and comment.

They say that TV Hulk is going to have the same design and CG model from the Avengers to cut costs but not the same actor.

The show will deal primarily with Bruce Banner and Betty Ross’ relationship which doesn’t sound like it’s following the old series if you want that hire Bryan Singer.

  50. Michael McDonnell October 18, 2011 at 12:28 am #

Wesley Snipes was offered the chance to reprise his role as Blade in the TV series but declined.

  51. Michael McDonnell October 18, 2011 at 4:21 pm #

Christopher Reeve never played Superman in different media only not on television in Lois & Clark or anyother adaptations. People wanted Tom Welling or Brandon Routh to play Superman in the new film but the producers wanted to separate it from past adaptations.

  52. Michael McDonnell October 19, 2011 at 3:09 pm #

Loeb would be in on Del Toro’s plans for the series and wouldn’t be lying about it, I doubt that Del Toro will be a showrunner with a fanboy like faithfulness to the old series.

    • Gilberto Edwards October 26, 2011 at 3:46 pm #

No way Guillermo Del Toro will not be lying about some thing thats he’s creating. The TV Show is more about a Scienist exposing himself with gamma radiation in his DNA and transformation into a Hulking green creature.

  53. Michael McDonnell October 21, 2011 at 7:17 pm #

You could do some episodes were they’re building up to a hulk out near the end like Banner working on a cure in some hideout and the military comes in and all hell breaks loose.

    • Gilberto Edwards October 26, 2011 at 3:50 pm #

I’ve watch the Television Show with David Banner was in the eposide called the final round when Banner find out that the guy he worked with is a drug mob and The Hulk Fights against the mobs and knock the black guy out cold out of the boxing ring.

  54. Gilberto Edwards October 26, 2011 at 3:59 pm #

You better of talking about the Incredible Hulk TV Series ran from 1978-1982.Behind that they made three more Hulk TV Films from 1988-1990.And they was going to make a Fourth TV Film called the Revenge of the Incredible Hulk that was in Development. its was about when Bill Bixby was in The Hulk’s body and he was going to speak for the first time as The Hulk then Bill Bixby passed way in 1993 at age 59.

    • Gilberto Edwards October 26, 2011 at 4:02 pm #

They need to start off where they left from 1990’s and make the Hulk only played by Lou Ferrigno and Blend in the marvel comics together.

      • Michael McDonnell October 26, 2011 at 7:24 pm #

That’s just going the Superman returns route which was rubbish how they continued from Richard Donner’s films and gave Lois and Superman a son.

Del Toro should create his own interpretation not copy someone else’s.

  55. Gilberto Edwards October 26, 2011 at 4:04 pm #

They need a Jack magee national Register chasing the Hulk with the army general ross.

  56. Michael McDonnell October 26, 2011 at 7:52 pm #

Del Toro said that the new Hulk TV series will follow its own continuity which means they’ll ignore the old series and the movies entirely.

  57. Michael McDonnell October 26, 2011 at 11:50 pm #

Everybody’s perspective of the Hulk is different depending on what generation your in and what version of the character you fell in love with wither it’s the 70′s tv show or the comics books.

    • Gilberto Edwards October 27, 2011 at 2:15 pm #

The Hulk will follow its own continuity by probably is starting were they left off in the old TV Series. But don’t forget the Incredible Hulk TV Series last long time in late 70’s to the 80’s until the 90’s came. So the Incredible Hulk TV Series in late 70’s to 80’s was last running television Series than any other Hulk TV, Movies, Films.

      • Michael McDonnell October 27, 2011 at 2:28 pm #

Just ignore the old series and let it create it’s own history and origin story either via the gamma bomb test or the green super soldier serum.

Lois & Clark didn’t start off where they left off with Superboy or the old George Reeves TV series and Smallville wasn’t a prequel to Donner’s film or Lois & Clark.

  58. Michael McDonnell October 27, 2011 at 1:07 am #

Continuing on from the old series would be real a missed opportunity because there’s too much of a generation gap.

    • Gilberto Edwards October 27, 2011 at 2:26 pm #

I think its a different times now the Incredible Hulk is still remembered as the orignal now days they have CGI and different Special effects. But the going to created Hulk like the TV Show then the movies because the movies used full CGI special effects that’s why Guillermo Del Toro said its not tied to the Movies at all. But even if they have the same CG models and CGI Specail effects does’nt mean its going to be tied to the film. The Hulk is going to live in the real world means that it will be the old school Hulk. There mixing with the classic Television Show and The several comic Books version including Jeph Leob Comic Book version.

      • Michael McDonnell October 27, 2011 at 3:06 pm #

They didn’t have time or money to create their own Hulk so they’re recycling the CG Hulk from the Avengers like how Smallville reused the Superman costume from Superman Returns.

It will be a different take on the Hulk it will focus more on the relationship between Bruce Banner and Betty Ross.

Having it be like the old series would be adding too much nostalgia, trying to recreate the magic of it would be a mistake.

  59. Gilberto Edwards October 27, 2011 at 2:27 pm #

The real Hulk height is 7’0′ feet tall tench to the green skin.

  60. Gilberto Edwards October 27, 2011 at 2:32 pm #

Now I watched the Incredible Hulk TV Series collection with another new version of the Incredible Hulk Movie with Edward Norton behind the scenes.Ed Norton fits the Bruce Banner charcater like the comic Book and the Bill Bixby version too.

    • Michael McDonnell October 29, 2011 at 9:10 pm #

Norton is too big for Television so he can’t play Banner.

  61. Michael McDonnell October 27, 2011 at 3:49 pm #

What about the Cylons in Battlestar Galactica? in the original they were men covered in silver plastic in the new one they were CGI, David Eick probably is probably doing the same thing with the Hulk instead of bodybuilder painted green with shaggy wig they’re doing a CG green monster.

  62. Michael McDonnell October 27, 2011 at 6:38 pm #

Could have it be like 24 or Prison Break with the main character being hunted by government forces and the Bruce and Betty love story would make it like The Fly or King Kong the series with a woman trying save the man she loves.

  63. Michael McDonnell October 28, 2011 at 12:18 am #

Have the gamma bomb origin instead of the chair were Banner saves Rick Jones in the testing field and gets belted with gamma rays.

  64. Michael McDonnell October 28, 2011 at 11:19 pm #

It’s better that the show exists in it’s own universe instead of just paying a homage to the old series which would be terrible, allow Del Toro to create his own Hulk TV continuity.

  65. Michael McDonnell October 31, 2011 at 8:30 pm #

There’ve been some examples of following a TV show or film series with a 20 or 30 year gap that have gone bad by paying a homage like Superman Returns which tried way too much to be like the Richard Donner film.

Just because the old series is so popular doesn’t mean it’s the way to go with the new series.

  66. Michael McDonnell November 3, 2011 at 8:20 pm #

Just treat the old series as the 1950′s George Reeves Superman show and the new series as Smallville.

  67. Michael McDonnell November 10, 2011 at 12:27 am #

It’s better for Del Toro and David Eick to do a different way to approach the character and having the series be solely a homage it would feel like it was made by a showrunner that didn’t know anything about the Hulk mythology except from what he knew from the old series.

  68. Michael McDonnell November 10, 2011 at 12:29 am #

My point is the old series was great for it’s time it’s well made, it’s well done most fans still hail it as the definitive version but it is necessary to move forward and make a live action version of the Hulk that is distinctive by coming up with a different way to present the character.

  69. Michael McDonnell November 24, 2011 at 10:29 pm #

Following the Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno TV series would be trying to pay a homage without any care of trying to do anything new or creative.

  70. Michael McDonnell November 30, 2011 at 1:39 am #

Del Toro has turned in the pilot screenplay to the network and waiting for a greenlight.

“We delivered the screenplay to the network. I have a very specific idea of how to do it, and we’re waiting for the green light. We know all the iterations of the Hulk pretty good. We’ve read all the essential stories, and we’re then riffing on that. There are so many incarnations and ideas. Jeph Loeb — who did a good run [on Hulk: Grey] — is involved, and I love Peter David’s Hulk. But there’s really no part in that mythos that we don’t know, so we are trying put our own personal spin on it”.

  71. Michael McDonnell December 6, 2011 at 7:34 pm #

Having a new cast is more likely because Del Toro and Eick would want to do their own creative blueprint and would be separating themselves from previous live action Hulk TV and movie adaptations.

The new series is going to be based on a different premise than the old series which was just the Hulk fighting criminals and being chased by a reporter, the new series is going to focus more on the relationship between Bruce Banner and Betty Ross and set in the early days of the Hulk.

Have Rick Jones be in the series because he was never used in either of the Hulk movies.

Rick Jones could be like John Connor, a rebellious teen on a motorcycle who helps out with Banner on his search for a cure and the guilt that he messed up his life by going out on a testing range only to be saved by Bruce and get zapped by gamma rays.
