Linda Hamilton and Guest Stars: Chuck Season 4

When it was announced that Linda Hamilton of Terminator fame was coming to NBC‘s Chuck,  it was big news for the show and for fans alike. Whilst we’ve only seen her in a few TV eps over the years,  she’s been sorely missed from the Terminator franchise after being written out of Rise of the Machines and only returning for an uncredited voice over in McG‘s Salvation.

At this year’s Comic-Con fans were pretty excited when they learned that Linda Hamilton had indeed landed the role of Mary Elizabeth Bartowski, whilst there have been no scenes released,  NBC have leaked the first pics of her in Chuck.

Also co-starring in the new season is Harry Dean Stanton of Alien fame whose character is linked to Chuck’s long lost mom. Show-runner Chris Fedak talked about his character:

Harry will play Harry Dean, the man who comes between Chuck and his search for his Mom. Who is he exactly? Well, we’ll say this. Only Harry Dean Stanton could
play this part.

Other big news for the season premiere is Expendables co-star Dolph Lundgren who will be, wait for it, a bad guy, he will play a character named Marco and as show-runner Fedak humorously remarked:

Is he Russian? Yes. Is he a terrifying bad guy? Yes.

He’s not the only star from Stallone’s Expendables making an appearance, Eric Roberts shows up as a soldier of fortune who was part of John Casey’s ‘A-Team’ during the Clinton era alongside WWE champion Batista and Joel David Moore. It would seem the team has gone rogue and are back to seek revenge on their ex-comrade, also appearing is Armand Assante as Premier Allejandro Goya.

Steve Austin who caused the much publicized neck injury to Stallone during filming The Expendables, appeared last season as Hugo Panzer and returns for a few eps this season. Making his debut in the second episode entitled Chuck vs. the Suitcase is the former Hulk, Lou Ferringo.

Steve Austin, Lou Ferrigno, Armand Assante, Timothy Dalton and Bronson Pinchot

Other guest stars include Nicole Ritchie returning as Agent Sarah Walker‘s high school nemeses, as well as the super cool former Bond Timothy Dalton, and keep an eye out for Perfect Stranger’s Bronson Pinchot who shows up early on to add to the hi-jinks.

The action and fun begins in the season premiere on NBC in Chuck vs. the Anniversary September 20, 2010.
